This embroidered U.S. flag is made out of DuPont SolarMax™ nylon, an extremely fade-resistant fabric specifically designed to withstand tough weather conditions day in and day out, including wind, rain and harsh sunlight. Each brilliant white star on the blue field of every embroidered American flag is embroidered using Schiffli-style embroidery equipment. This type of embroidery mimics the density and richness of traditional hand embroidery. Each flag is constructed with a choice of chain-stitch seams or lock-stitch seams, a reinforced fly hem, and two rolled-rim grommets with spur washers that interlock serrations to firmly grasp the material providing a rugged, unyielding setting.
