Each U.N. member flag illustrated is the “government” flag,
used by that nation’s government and displayed at U.N. headquarters in New York. Unless otherwise indicated, it also has been
designated for civilian use. Where the
flag illustrated is reserved for government use only, the “civil” flag is also
listed. This flag is identical to the
one shown except the seal if omitted.
Each flag is made of 100% heavyweight nylon, specially treated to reduce
sun and chemical deterioration, and is finished with strong canvas headings and
large brass grommets.
